Meet Ted

Ted has 15 years of experience in the property and casualty insurance industry and 3 years owning the brokerage. He is a passionate broker who advocates for his clients and excels at building strong relationships with best-in-class insurance carrier partners.

Ted is a creative broker who’s out-of-the-box thinking allows him to solve complex problems with tailored & comprehensive solutions that protect what matters most to his clients.

Outside of the office Ted is a proud family man with 3 daughters. He loves hockey, skiing and golf and being annually disappointed by the Toronto Maple Leafs!

Meet Zayd

Zayd Agjee is a seasoned insurance professional with over 15 years of experience in the industry. Throughout his career, Zayd has consistently prioritized delivering exceptional client experiences by understanding unique needs and providing tailored insurance solutions. His ability to build strong relationships, coupled with his strategic approach to problem-solving, has contributed to his reputation as a trusted advisor in the field.

Ted & Zayd started their insurance careers together 15 years ago and after their paths took them in separate directions for about a decade, they are excited to be working together again to grow CI Group. 

Zayd is a dedicated family man, an avid traveler and a sports enthusiast.

Kelly's dedicated and enthusiastic approach, coupled with over 16 years of experience in personal and casualty lines, brings unmatched value to our customers. 

Kelly prides herself on providing a customer first philosophy, that our personal lines clients appreciate and trust.

Outside of the office, Kelly is a busy mother of two who spends countless hours at sporting practices and events!

Meet Kirstene

Kirstene is another seasoned and customer centric member of our team. She has been providing knowledgeable, high quality customer service since 2013. Kirstene started her career servicing Personal Lines clients and after 6 years pursued an opportunity on the Commercial side which she now calls home. Having worked with all types of coverage and clients, Kirstene has a unique perspective, understanding and passion that she brings to our business every single day. 

Outside of work, Kirstene enjoys a good book and spending time with her family.

Meet Ashley

With a 16 year history in marketing, Ashley has lead all aspects of the funnel providing a strong foundation for managing a P&L, delivering a budget and keeping track of the many moving pieces at CI Group, including her husband, Ted ☺ 

Ashley has strong attention to detail allowing her to successfully manage the complexities of our books while also keeping a keen eye looking forward on growth.

Meet Wes

Wes is one of our newer hires and we couldn’t be prouder and more excited to have him. With 20 years of customer service experience, Wes brings professionalism paired with a wealth of knowledge and expertise to our team. He has been inspired by his mother who was an insurance underwriter proving that the industry is in his blood ☺ Wes is passionate, hardworking and always provides his clients with exceptional (and quick) service. Outside of work, Wes enjoys skiing, cycling, and spending quality time with his family.

Meet Elizabeth

With over 10 years of experience in the insurance industry, Elizabeth takes pride in helping her clients navigate their unique insurance needs with care and dedication. She understands how important it is to find the right coverage and she’s here to make the process as smooth as possible. 

When she’s not working, she’s a busy mom of three young children, all of whom keep her on her toes! She’s also a passionate advocate within the Down Syndrome community and enjoys spending any free time working on DIY projects around the house. 

Balancing family, advocacy work and her career are truly fulfilling and Elizabeth brings the same care and dedication to every one of her clients.

Colin has over 22 years of experience in the Property & Casualty insurance sector. His extensive knowledge and dedication enable him to consistently deliver tailored solutions that address the unique needs of each client. Colin is committed to fostering strong, lasting relationship. He builds rapport and understanding, ensuring that his clients receive the highest level of customer care and peace of mind.

Colin’s client-centric approach has earned him a reputation for reliability and trustworthiness. Outside of his professional life, Colin enjoys spending time in nature and engaging in water sports at the lake with his family.

Meet Paula

After 33 years of working as an insurance broker, Paula decided to focus on bringing more passion to service. Paula not only brings a wealth of experience, knowledge, and wisdom but she does so with a can-do and very fun attitude.  Paula has a keen eye to detail and thrives in problem solving and helping others.

With an approachable and caring personality, Paula seeks to develop strong and long-term relationships with all her clients. 

In her spare time, Paula loves to play with her two beloved, yet crazy, chihuahuas, she loves to destroy her opponents on a pool table and seeks every chance to follow her passions: cooking and baking.  She’s not only a great baker she’s also a talented cake decorator who always brings joy and happiness to the tummies of her friends and family.

Thomas is a creative broker who prides himself on being able to provide tailored solutions with top-of-the-line service and communication in the property and casualty insurance industry.

He has a passion for creating and maintaining relationships and looks forward to helping businesses and individuals protect the things that they value.

Thomas graduated from Dalhousie University with a degree in Commerce and was one of CI Groups first hires back in 2022.

Outside of the office you can find him skiing, playing golf and spending his summers on Georgian bay.

When Alyssa is not helping clients find the perfect insurance coverage, you can find her chasing after her energetic toddler or getting involved in various community activities. She believes in the power of building relationships, both personally and professionally.
