Ted has 15 years of experience in the property and casualty insurance industry and 4 years owning the brokerage. He is a passionate broker who advocates for his clients and excels at building strong relationships with best-in-class insurance carrier partners.
Ted is a creative broker who’s out-of-the-box thinking allows him to solve complex problems with tailored & comprehensive solutions that protect what matters most to his clients.
Outside of the office Ted is a proud family man with 3 daughters. He loves hockey, skiing and golf and being annually disappointed by the Toronto Maple Leafs! -

Zayd Agjee
COO
Zayd Agjee is a seasoned insurance professional with over 15 years of experience in the industry. Throughout his career, Zayd has consistently prioritized delivering exceptional client experiences by understanding unique needs and providing tailored insurance solutions. His ability to build strong relationships, coupled with his strategic approach to problem-solving, has contributed to his reputation as a trusted advisor in the field.
Ted & Zayd started their insurance careers together 15 years ago and after their paths took them in separate directions for about a decade, they are excited to be working together again to grow CI Group.
Zayd is a dedicated family man, an avid traveler and a sports enthusiast.

Kirstene Duffy
TEAM LEAD, COMMERCIAL
Kirstene is another seasoned and customer centric member of our team. She has been providing knowledgeable, high quality customer service since 2013. Kirstene started her career servicing Personal Lines clients and after 6 years pursued an opportunity on the Commercial side which she now calls home. Having worked with all types of coverage and clients, Kirstene has a unique perspective, understanding and passion that she brings to our business every single day.
Outside of work, Kirstene enjoys a good book and spending time with her family. -

Ashley Currie
FINANCE & ACCOUNTING LEAD
With a 16 year history in marketing, Ashley has lead all aspects of the funnel providing a strong foundation for managing a P&L, delivering a budget and keeping track of the many moving pieces at CI Group, including her husband, Ted ☺
Ashley has strong attention to detail allowing her to successfully manage the complexities of our books while also keeping a keen eye looking forward on growth. -

Wes Landman
CSR, COMMERCIAL LINES & ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE
Wes joined CI Group in 2024 with more than 20 years of customer service experience and quickly made his mark in the insurance industry. His ability to learn the business, combined with his natural commitment to putting customers first, has made him a valued member of both our team and our clients’ businesses. As a member of our Commercial Service team, Wes is known for his responsiveness, attention to detail and exceptional level of service. He takes the time to understand each client’s needs and ensures they feel well supported every step of the way. Alongside his service role, Wes is also building his own book of business, bringing the same dedication, professionalism and client-first approach to the relationships he develops. Outside of work, Wes enjoys skiing, cycling and spending quality time with his wife and son.

Elizabeth Volpe
ACCOUNT MANAGER, PERSONAL
With over 10 years of experience in the insurance industry, Elizabeth takes pride in helping her clients navigate their unique insurance needs with care and dedication. She understands how important it is to find the right coverage and she’s here to make the process as smooth as possible.
When she’s not working, she’s a busy mom of three young children, all of whom keep her on her toes! She’s also a passionate advocate within the Down Syndrome community and enjoys spending any free time working on DIY projects around the house.
Balancing family, advocacy work and her career are truly fulfilling and Elizabeth brings the same care and dedication to every one of her clients. -

Tasha joined CI Group at the start of 2026 and brings 5 years of industry experience. She is a quick learner and has quickly become a knowledgeable and dedicated part of the team. Tasha is passionate about building strong relationships with all her clients which helps her deliver superior service and the best coverage for their unique needs.
Outside of work, Tasha loves to spend time with family and friends. She is also a huge hockey fan, cheering on the Toronto Maple Leafs with enthusiasm (and sometimes disappointment ;) Tasha enjoys traveling to new places and is an avid reader, dedicated to building her home library. …elly prides herself on providing a customer first philosophy, that our personal lines clients appreciate and trust.

Thomas graduated from Dalhousie University with a degree in Commerce and was one of CI Groups first hires back in 2022.
Outside of the office you can find him skiing, playing golf and spending his summers on Georgian bay. -

With firsthand experience working as a contractor himself — and coming from a family of contractors — Brandon brings a unique perspective to the insurance industry. He understands the realities business owners face day to day and uses that insight, along with his extensive insurance knowledge, to build coverage that truly fits each client’s operations.
Brandon takes the time to understand each business, identify potential risks and create tailored insurance solutions that provide comprehensive protection while keeping costs competitive and avoiding costly gaps in coverage
